Stream of Consciousness

Well it looks like everyone is finally healthy in the house again! WOOHOO! The only issue we are having now is Taylor's bottom is raw. Poor girl has the worst of the worst diaper rash. It will just. not. go. away. I have been using Desitin and A&D, and now from talking to other moms it sounds like maybe a yeast infection since it's not responding to normal diaper rash creams! So today I think we will get some OTC anti fungal creams and see if it helps. It is just heartbreaking to see her in pain.

Timothy is "reading" now! He did it for the first time a couple weeks ago, and it was the cutest thing ever. I know it is basically him just memorizing what I read to him, but there are some times that he starts to make up his own version. Either way it's a start and it's just so darn cute. Gosh, how did he get so big!

On the same note as getting so big, we finally decided on what we will do for the party. We are going to have 1 big party for both Timothy's 4th birthday and Taylor's 1st birthday. It's not my ideal way to do it, but we can't afford to have two parties within 3 weeks of each other, mainly because we don't have a house to have the party in. Which means we have to pay to have a party somewhere, and to do that twice will just not work.

So we decided to do the parties at The Little Gym! We went to our friend Ella's 5th birthday party there and the boys LOVED it. Actually even Taylor LOVED rolling around there, and now she crawls and pulls up so I know she will have fun. It was reasonably priced. They do all the setting up, clean up, and supply everything. We just have to bring the cake. Which they will have 2 separate cakes!

I am sad that Taylor will be the only one who didn't get her own 1st birthday, but this was the best situation for out family. We have to do what we can I guess.

We are expecting to get a good amount back from taxes, and plan to pay off some bills. Then we would like to get a new TV we have an old one, that is not working right. A new couch, ours is destroyed from animals and kids. AND hopefully a new camera for momma. I will be looking into DSLR's any suggestion or recommendations?!
