Taylor's Baby Shower

Tonight was Taylor's baby shower/night out!! I had such a great time! It is always nice to get out away from the kids once in a while. It was great to have some adult conversation and be able to eat your dinner before it gets cold and not have to worry about if the kids have everything they need first.

My great friends Ann and Laura set up the baby shower and we went to 54th street bar and grill in Arnold, it was yummy! I have some of the greatest friends who just went above and beyond on gifts. I am truly grateful! It was so fun to open up all the girly stuff since I'm so used to blue clothes and trucks and cars.

So a special thanks to Ann, Laura, Aaron, Lisa, Sarah, and my mom for coming out tonight and of course for the gifts. And thanks to Krista for a wonderful gift even though she couldn't make it out tonight.

Here are some pictures from tonight and of all the "goodies"!

Timothy's new four-wheeler

For Timothy's third birthday Tim really wanted to get him his own little four-wheeler. He really LOVES all kinds of bikes and motorcycles. So we went ahead and ordered him one hoping he would like it and it would be something he could ride for a while. Well it arrived in about a week, Tim got it all set up and running, and wouldn't you know it Timothy wanted nothing to do with it. He freaked out as soon as Tim started it and was so scared that he even peed his pants :( My poor guy! So we just waited until the next day and guess what he decided he was going to ride it. Once on the bike we couldn't keep him off, he was having so much fun!! What is even more funny is Mason is Mason wouldn't stay off of it either. Tim had to take both the boys around the yard on it about 100 times. OH well I'm just glad he gets on it now.

Boys Will Be Boys!

Timothy and Mason's new favorite activity is wrestling! I sure thought I had a while before this started, but oh no! They are just so darn cute though that I just had to video tape them the other morning. ENJOY!

Food, Presents, Friends....It's a Party!

Today we had a little get together at America's Incredible Pizza Co. with our friends to celebrate Timothy turning 3! The kids LOVE this place and as usual Timothy had a great time with his friends. He also got some awesome new cars, which if you know my child that is the best thing you could get him! Thanks to our wonderful friends for sharing the morning with us, we love you guys!

Good Friends and Cute Baby!!

Tim's best friend Chris and his fiancee Angie came over a few weeks ago to hang out and so the "boys" could ride on Chris's new dirt bike. They have the sweetest daughter Alyssa who is now 5 months old and such a good baby! I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of her!

A new direction

A few weeks ago Tim applied for a system tech position at his work. He really wanted this position for many reasons....he will get a pay increase, it allows him to advance in the company, and it allows for room to make more money! Well we had not heard anything so we figured he did not get the job. But surprise surprise today he texted me from work saying he GOT THE POSITION!!! YAY WooHOO! I am so very happy and proud of him! This is going to be great for our family!

WAY TO GO TIM!

Timothy Through The Years....

Three years ago today, I arrived at the hospital at around 5:30 AM in a lot of pain believing I was in labor. Turns out I was not, but my blood pressure was dangerously high, so they started medicine to bring it down. After about an hour or 2 it did not go down, but higher my doctor made the decision to go ahead and induce me. I remember them saying to me " Ok today is the day...today is baby day". I was terrified. I was 38 weeks and 2 days.

So they started the pitocin around 9AM and I then got my epidural shortly after when I was about 4 cm...I did not want to feel a thing. By this point I was feeling pretty good and all we had to do was just wait. We had a lot of company up at the hospital. Im sure our family took up half the waiting room, but that was to be expected Timothy was the first grandchild on both sides.

After a long day in the hospital, in labor (pain free though), I was told I was 10 cm and ready to push. After a very short time pushing, maybe a half hour, Timothy James entered this world at 8:27 p.m. and he was healthy, happy, and beautiful!!

He weighed in at 7lbs 3oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Tim and I were in heaven just amazed at this tiny litte guy and so happy he was finally here!

We spent 2 days in the hospital recovering and then it was time to go home, boy was I nervous. He was so tiny and I had no idea what to do or how to do it. If only I knew then what I know now!!
