Trains, Trains, Everywhere

Last birthday post, I promise.

Well last birthday post for Mason. Timothy's birthday is in February so I will warn you now.

Plus we have 2 birthday parties next week, and then one in 3 weeks. I am going to be all partied out. The kids not so much.

Warning: this is going to be a picture overload and a rather long post. OK you have been warned.

Today we had Mason's family and friend party at the train store. His actual birthday was about 2 weeks ago. This is a great little train store where they sell hand made wooden trains, tracks, Thomas the train stuff, and so much more. They have 3 small train tables, and one big one set up for the kids to play with for free. They do accept donations. We go here all the time with kids to either get out of the cold or heat and just play for the morning. The boys love it so I knew it would be the perfect place to have his party.

Once everyone was there, we went up to the top level to the party room. This was so cute! The kids then took turns whacking a pinata. This was a hit! We let all the little kids go first and then let the older ones actually bust it open.

Next we sang happy birthday and enjoyed some cake. I had a Thomas/train cake made to match the theme. I think it turned out cute! The kids enjoyed it, so I guess that's all that really matters, right?!

Present time!

After cake and presents were over, we moved to the train room where we stayed until the party was over. There is a big train table for the kids to play with that was just for our party guests.

These hands prints all over the walls were of past birthday guests. Before we left Mason was able to put his handprint on the wall. Of course my child wanted nothing to do with the paint....

so we traced his hand. It worked. So now his hand will always be there as long as the building is. Or they paint it I guess!

And there you have it, birthday party success!

Wouldn't you know it I didn't take one picture of Taylor during the party. So here is Taylor after the party at home. I really just wanted to show off her cute little outfit!
