Stream of Consciousness: Back in Town Edition

Sorry for the lack of posts, we have been busy the past few days.

On Sunday, my mom had a photographer come to her house to take pictures of the kids. We haven't had any professional pictures of the kids since Mason was a baby, and the only ones we have of Taylor are from the hospital when she was born. And family pictures, I don't think we have ever had a family picture done. We were definitely in need.

I really hope the pictures turn out great! I can't wait to share them with you all. We ended the day visiting with my dad and Judee. It was a long day, but the kids did great!

Tim's parents were suppose to be here on Sunday, but got delayed a little and didn't start driving until Sunday afternoon. They are finally moving back to St. Louis from Texas. They still haven't sold their house down there yet, but brought everything up here except for the furniture.

We helped the move everything into a storage unit until they get a house. For now they are staying with Tim's grandparents. Timothy really enjoyed "helping" them carry the light boxes. I think he felt important and included.

Not to mention I am sure the kids were just excited to get out of the house and enjoy the weather. After being stuck in the house for what feels like forever, the 50-60 degree weather feels like a heat wave!

Taylor was just happy as a clam watching everyone going back and forth, unloading boxes! Just kicking her little legs, going a mile a minute!

We all went back to Tim's grandparents house for dinner, and to finish helping unload the rest of their stuff. So Tim's parents will only be going back to Texas when the house sells to close and bring back their furniture. It will be nice to have them close now. Tim was telling Timothy he will have to come up with names to call grandma and grandpa because he won't be able to call them grandma and grandpa from Texas like he does now!

We finally got our taxes done. I am excited to get the money back. We will be paying some bills, Tim wants to get some new plastics for his dirt bike, and I get a new camera! WOOOHOO! It is about time. Although now I have to make a decision on which one...and I have NO idea! Any suggestions?

How bad is it that I didn't even realize yesterday was Valentine's Day until I seen every one's Facebook status's. Wow can we say bad mommy, I felt horrible that I had nothing for the kids. I guess I really have not been getting much sleep lately.

Friday is Timothy's birthday, he will be 4 and I just have no idea where the time went. He is just a little man now. One who goes to the bathroom on the potty, voices his opinion, wants to do everything himself, but still wants to cuddle every once in a while. I have some posts coming up this week to celebrate his 4th birthday, so stay tuned!

I guess I am just rambling now. Timothy has developed a nasty cough, and a slight runny nose, but that's it. I am hoping that's all that it becomes, because he sounds horrible. I would really like to avoid an germs this week especially since it's going to be so nice out!

I am done rambling now. I hope you all have a great Tuesday and rest of the week!

Oh and please, if you haven't already, check out my giveaway HERE. It ends tomorrow, so easy to enter!

Oh and a sweet picture just because. Great grandpa feeding Taylor. How sweet right?!
