Mickey's Magic Show Live

As I mentioned yesterday, we had tickets to see Mickey Magic Show Live last night at the Chaifetz Arena. The boys had been talking about it all day long, and I was excited to see their faces. First we dropped Taylor off with my mom and off we went.

* These pictures didn't turn out the greatest, but it's the memories that count!

We arrived about a half hour before the show, and walked around checking out all the souvenirs. We got the boys Mickey snow cone cups, and Tim and I grabbed some food and headed to our seats.

I am so glad Tim's aunt gave us these tickets they were great seats! We were able to see the stage perfectly!

Right before the show started we gave in and got them some cotton candy because they came with the Mickey hats that like EVERYONE had. I knew they boys would really like a hat, but holy cow the prices they get you to pay! It was like $10 a piece for the cotton candy, so we basically spent $20 for 2 cheap hats. But it was worth it to make them happy, and really they don't get to do this stuff very often.

The look on their faces when Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald came out was priceless. It could almost bring you to tears to see them that excited!

I thought it was a cute show. Lots of smoke, fireworks, lights, and of course MAGIC! I thought Mason would really enjoy it since he is so into Mickey, but he lost his interest by the intermission. He was really only interested if Mickey was on stage.

They incorporated a lot of the other Disney stories into the show with Magic. There was Alice in Wonderland, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Jasmine, and twice they pulled kids from the audience. Most of those scenes Mason got antsy in because we don't watch the princess movies around here(yet)so they didn't know who they were.

Timothy seemed to enjoy the whole show though! I think he just liked all the explosions! About 10 minutes into the show, the boys were all sticky and soaked from their snow cones! Timothy had it all down the front of his shirt. They were MESSY!

It was a magical night out! Did you like that, corny I know?! But really we had a great time. I think they boys would have REALLY got into had they been a little older to understand all the magic.

I am not sure what happened with this picture, but it was the end of the show and there were fireworks, confetti, and streamers shot everywhere. They boys got a kick out of it. Too bad the picture messed up. I will be glad when I can get a new camera!

Today, we are being lazy around the house. I need to clean for the weekend. Tim's parents will be in town on Sunday, and we are having the kids pictures taken with my mom. BUSY BUSY BUSY!

Have a FABULOUS Friday friends!
