Not much to report on. Taylor seems to be feeling better, still slightly cranky but that seems to be teething.
What do you think?!
Mason is on the mend, but still not 100% better, and still insanely crabby. I feel like I am going to loose my mind with all the whining! Although last night you wouldn't have thought he was sick....I kept finding him like this.
Still as cute as ever when not feeling well!
Today, we decided we needed to get out of the house. The kids and I have been in the house all week, and even with them not 100% I thought we all needed some fresh air. I really needed to go get some groceries since there is NOTHING in the house, but we all came to the conclusion that bowling sounded better than getting food for the house. This was the boys first time bowling. Of course I forgot the camera at the house, I know crazy for me, but they did great. Timothy is still talking about how much fun they had today. Timothy's score was 68 and Mason's was 78, not bad huh?!
We have a busy month ahead with a birthday party every week. This Saturday is Mason's party at the train store. Then on the 13th, our friend Mason's party at Chuck E Cheese. The next day the 14th is our good friends Chris and Angie's daughter Alyssa's 1st birthday. Then finally on the 28th, we have our friend Carter's birthday. The boys are going to LOVE all these parties! Our bank account, not so much. HA HA Such is the life with kids.
We may even try and go to the movies on Tuesday with friends or to a pool party. All depends on if I can get the kids to sit through a movie. Then the rest of the week I am resting.
I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!

Out Of The Mouths of Moms
Join Mckmama and other mamas in Out Of The Mouths of Moms!
Here are some of the things I have caught myself saying lately:
* "Yes, you have a penis. No mommy does not have a penis, only boys have one. Yes, daddy is a boy. Yes I pretty sure!"
* "Please do not buckle the dog into the car seat!"
* While nursing Taylor- "Yes I am feeding your sister. No she is not eating my belly!"
* "Please go put some clothes on. Because people are coming over. OK at least go put some underwear on!
* "Timothy do you love daddy? Do you love mommy? Oh you love pizza more!"
* "Yes I heard your fart, but we don't have to announce it in public. Yes I know you just farted, but SHHHH! SHHHHHHH NOT NOW!
Do you see a reoccurring theme? Timothy is newly potty trained and has a new obsession! Such is the life with boys. I can't wait for Taylor to start talking. Lets here some of the things you have been saying lately!

Timothy's Best Friend
Today is Timothy's best friend Nicco's birthday party.
Unfortunately we will miss it. Timothy will be upset. Timothy and Nicco love playing together. His mom Kelly and I get a kick out of watching these two. They are so silly. I am glad Timothy has such a great friend. Bummed we are going to miss his party. Happy 3rd birthday Nicco! Have a great day!
The reason why we have to miss Nicco's party....Mason and Taylor are sick. I noticed early in the week that Mason was started to get congested. Then the runny nose and cough started. Then before I knew it Taylor had it. That didn't really surprise me since Mason cannot stay away from her. It's like it doesn't matter how hard he tries he is drawn to her, and has to be right in her face loving on her.
So now here I am with two sick kiddos. Bad coughs, congestion, and snot bubbles. Yep it's as gross as it sounds. Ugh I can handle poopy diapers, but there is just something about kids snot that bothers me! We are going on day 4 and I am hoping they get better soon. I really don't want to have to make a trip to the doctor, especially since Mason goes for his 2 year check up in a week.
I was thinking Mason was just getting his 2 year molars, but now I am not so sure since Taylor caught it. Despite not feeling so good, they are not really acting it. Well besides sleeping more and Mason's all day long crying fits. No seriously, he cries, well more like screams, ALL DAY LONG!!!
Send us some healthy vibes so we can kick these germs to the curb!
Gotta love baby leg warmers!!

Thinking of a friend
It's amazing how much we take for granted, especially the little things that just come easy to you. It's usually not until you see someone else who is just not as fortunate as you, to make you take a step back.
A good friend of mine who I met through a playgroup, has infertility issues. She has an almost 2 year old daughter, who by the way is just the cutest little thing, that they struggled to get pregnant with. They just recently exhausted all their resources to try and have their second and final child. They wanted so badly to give their little girl a sibling, I know that feeling. My heart truly breaks for them so much.
Infertility is not something I have ever had to deal with, actually with me it's quite the opposite. I am pretty sure I am too fertile, considering all three of my kiddos were born on BC, two on the pill and my daughter on the IUD. While Tim and I do joke and complain about not being able to be in the same room with each other because I may become pregnant. It is times like these that I realize just how lucky we are. Being 23 and having 3 kids already was not the plan, but I am so grateful that I was able to have children so easily.
It's times like these that I feel so guilty for even thinking that I want more kids. Here there are people who struggle to have one child and I have 3 happy, beautiful, healthy children. It is times like these that I wish that there was something I could do. I truly wish that I could maybe carry a child for them, while I am not even entirely sure that is something they would even consider, much less Tim. Plus I don't have the most healthy pregnancies, struggling with high blood pressure.
I guess all I can really do is pray. We are not a religious family at all, but I do believe in God. So I pray for a miracle, and I know that only god can grant that miracle. If it is meant to be it will be I guess. In the meantime I will just try and be a good friend, and be there for support in this difficult time.
And maybe just for extra measures I can send some of my extra fertile dust to her!

Another birthday post.
Yep it's another birthday post. On Friday evening we went to Tim's aunt Shari's house for dinner. Mason got some birthday cards and we enjoyed some brownies for his birthday!
Then on Saturday, his actual birthday, we spend the morning at home and then went to my dad and Judee's in the afternoon. It was SO hot out that we did a little swimming, but spent most of the time in the house trying to stay cool. Mason opened up some presents from PaPa and Judee, and we had Ruma's for dinner. Yummy!! Mason really liked his gifts. He got Lightning McQueen swimming trunks, chair, and bike. It was a low key birthday since his party is not for another 2 weeks. Yep that means I will have one more birthday post. Your welcome!
We have now officially dove into the "terrible" two's!

Mason through the years....
Well today I am going to do a lazy post. Well not too lazy because I do have to search through all the pictures, to find the ones to post. I now have a 2 year old. He has changed so much, as I am sure every parent realizes. I love looking back through old pictures to see just how much he has grown and changed. And well I'm really doing this because I did it for Timothy when he turned 3. So it's only fair, right?!
Either way, here is Mason through the years. 2 years to be exact!

Happy 2nd Birthday Mason
Two years ago today I went in for my weekly non stress test and doctor appointment. I was 38 weeks and 2 days, I only had Timothy with me. During the ultrasound he was "non reactive", they could not get him to move. For the past few weeks they had also been having trouble with his heart rate getting too high, in to the 200s. They tried everything to get you to move, and after about an hour of no movement they sent me over to the woman's evaluation unit to me monitored.
Mommy and Timothy waiting to find out if Mason was going to be born that day!
Once over there they were able to get him to move a little, but his heart rate was still eratic. Going from 130s to 210bpm. They wanted to do a biophysical ultrasound, and called my doctor to see what she said. She decided she did not want to mess around anymore and wanted to get him hear safely. I was already 3cm dilated, my fluid was low, and with the heart rate, and non stress test they decided to send me to labor and delivery and I was induced. That was around 4-5 p.m.
I then called Tim and told him we were going to be having Mason that night, and he headed up to the hospital. My mom was already up there I called her to help with Timothy.
Once they started the pitocin and broke my water, I went from 6cm to fully dilated in no time. And with only a few short pushed Mason was born at 9:27 p.m. on July 24th, 2008!
He weighed 7lbs 3oz, which ironically is the exact same weight as Timothy. And was 20inches long.
Everyone was so happy you were finally here, happy and healthy. With NO heart problems!
Big brother Timothy slept through everything! He did not get to meet his new little brother until the next day. He wasn't sure at first but warmed up quickly.
Mason you sure were a surprise, but an awesome one. We love you so much, and you are such a happy lovable guy. You can always make me smile and laugh. Two short years ago you were so tiny and depended on us. Now you are my very strong willed, independant, tantrum throwing 2 year old. You mean the world to me baby boy. Mommy loves you so much. Hugs and Kisses xoxo!
