All Smiles

Taylor has begun to smile!

Not the gassy, sleepy smiles like this one either!

But real smiles! She loves when you smile at her and she will shoot one right back at you!

I can tell she is going to be a spunky little girl with a BIG personality.

Just like any little girl though, I am sure I will have my fair share of drama and attitude! Let the fun begin.

How I Became the Mean Lady in the Neighborhood

Today I realized I am turning into the mean lady in the neighborhood. Yeah you know the one I'm talking about! Who would have thought that at 23 I would be the mean old lady of the neighborhood! We have quite a few kids around us which I don't mind, seeing as I am a mom of 3 kids, not that much is going to bother me.

BUT

These kids are CRAZY! They are always in our yard. They could play in their yard, but for some reason our yard is better I guess. Now that I don't really mind, but now they are starting to ride bikes in the yard, around and around in circles. They play on our front porch. OH and get this they are constantly looking in our front windows! Crazy, right?! Now in their defense we do live where there is no sidewalk, just your yard and them BAM the street, a very busy street at that. Thus why I don't really mind them in the yard.

If you are outside they are constantly right next to you talking to you asking you questions. They are always trying to play with Timothy's toys in the garage, and have even taken toys out without asking. Then just recently they have started to push me to the edge. If one of the dogs get out, which happens almost daily, they will bang on the door and ring the door bell non stop. When we open the door obviously annoyed they then tell us our dog got out! I appreciate them bringing our dog back, but the banging on the door and ringing the bell is just getting under my skin. And this is just not one knock/ring. It goes something like BANG BANG BANG, RING RING RING, BANG BANG BANG, RING RING RING....for like 5 minutes!

Well today I had enough!

ME: "DO NOT knock on the door or ring the bell ever again"!
The boys: "Uh Uh your dog got out".
Me: *grabbing the dog from his hands* "DO NOT come in my yard again"!!
The boys: *run off*

Seriously though I can only take so much! I think what gets me the most is that the dad(single father) does not watch or even know where his kids are half the time. As a matter a fact most parents don't around here. The dad the one day came over when his kids were pestering Tim while he was BBQing, and said that they must have snuck out while he was watching a movie!

I just don't get it. I guess I will not only be the mean lady in the neighborhood, but also the mean mommy. The mommy who does not just let her kids wonder all over the place looking through peoples window's.

Butterfly House

Tuesday morning we met some friends at the Butterfly House, I had never been and have wanted to check it out for a while now! We picked the worst day, it was packed with school field trips! It was a nightmare to get through, but the kids seemed to like it. It is such a beautiful place, great for pictures! I hope that next time we visit it will be less crowded!

The Butterfly House is located in a great park that also has a playground, and an indoor carousal. It was gorgeous out so we headed to the park to let the kids run off some energy. Always a good way to insure some naps! Then took a ride on the carousal, the kids REALLY loved this!

Then we met Kelly and Nicco at McDonald's for lunch. Timothy and Nicco are best friends and are inseparable when together, it is so cute! They have the greatest time laughing, and running around the play center. Shhh don't tell but it's also is a great way for Kelly and I to chat and not have to constantly stop to chase after a kid!!

I love spending mornings enjoying the weather with friends! I LOVE being a stay at home mommy!

2 Months Old

On Sunday, Mother's Day, Taylor turned 2 months old!

Sometimes I wonder how she can already be 2 months old, while other times it feels like she has always been here! I remember being so nervous before she was born about how I was going to be able to handle three kids. Now I don't know what I would do if I just had 2 or 1 kid!! She was suppose to go the doctor yesterday(Wednesday)but I canceled because of the rain, I was too lazy to drag all three kids to the doctor in the rain! They couldn't get her in again until June 16th, and by that time she will be 3 months old. So I don't really know any of her stats for this month, but I'm pretty sure she has grown!

What Taylor is doing at 2 month old:
* Still nurses every 2-4 hours during the day
* Sleeps 6-8 hours at night
* Is awake a lot during the day
* SMILES :)
* Tolerates tummy time a little better
* Holds head up a little more
* Still sleeps in the bassinet or hammock at night
* LOVES bath time
* Hates being changed(diaper or clothes)
* LOVES the swing
* Great in the car
* Focus's on you

Happy 2 month's Taylor! I love you so much!

Happy Birthday....to me!

Yesterday was my birthday, I am now 23! Clearly Taylor thinks that is way old....

Since it was Monday of course Tim was working so nothing exciting was planned. The kids and I just hung around the house relaxing! I was thinking about taking the kids somewhere, but never got up the energy to get all three kids ready and out the door.

Tim was also suppose to be on call, which usually means that as soon as he gets home that he will be called right back out. So I figured going out to dinner or anywhere for that matter was out.

Can you tell I knew I wouldn't be leaving the house?!

Well apparently Tim found someone who wanted some overtime so they took his on call. AWESOME! Thanks for telling me, I could have gotten ready during the day so we could actually go out to dinner or do something for my birthday! We ended up staying in and ordering pizza, pretty boring birthday. Oh well another year down!

Yes I have also have two boys who I promise I take pictures of.....when they let me!

Mommy to THREE

Yesterday was my first Mother's Day as a mommy of three, and Taylor's first Mother's Day with me! It was great waking up to their sweet faces. Since I didn't get to sleep in because I had to get up to feed Taylor, I just went ahead and started my day by making the boys breakfast. Once Tim did wake up he made him and I some breakfast and then we got ready for the day.

My mom wanted us to meet her out at a winery by our house with a lady she works with and her family. I was a little upset about this whole situation in the first place, but decided to go because I wanted to see her on Mother's Day. All I wanted to do was spend Mother's Day with MY family, NOT someone Else's family! Don't get me wrong I am so happy my mom has such great friends who make her apart of their family. I just felt like no one cared that this was also MY Mother's Day too, and asked what I wanted to do. I really did not want to go to the winery, but did so she wouldn't upset. But deep down I feel that if she wants to spend holiday's with someone Else's family, then she shouldn't get upset if I don't go. This would have been a totally different day if we went to her house, or she came her, or we took the kids to the zoo, or went out to eat, anything as long as it was our family! Oh well I am done venting, just had to get that out!

So off we went to winery, and I was determined to still have a good time! This winery is beautiful! They have a lake that has a gazebo on it, where the kids can watch and feed the fish. The boys had a blast with the fish and running around with the other kids. It was super crowded though and Taylor was a little crabby. When we were down at the gazebo Taylor spit out her pacifier and wouldn't you know it, it went right into the damn lake! So of course we had to leave because she didn't last long without it! We didn't get to stay long, but the boys enjoyed themselves, so I was happy!

Once we left there we headed to the store to get some pacifiers, and let Timothy pick out a toy. We promised him that he would get a toy if he continued to go on the potty. He has been doing great for 2 weeks, so we thought it was time! I also bought The Biggest Loser game for the Wii, I LOVE that show and need to loose some of this baby weight. When then grabbed some dinner and headed home.

It wasn't my ideal Mother's Day and did not go how I imagined, but turned out to be a nice day! Plus every day that I am with my three beautiful kids is a great day! I am so blessed they choose me as their mommy!

I hope you all had a great day!

Future Nascar Racer?

On Saturday I really wanted to take the kids to the Zoo or Grants Farm since we haven't been in so long, but of course Tim didn't want to go. Something about not wanting to walk that much or it being to late in the day...I stopped listening after he said we couldn't go! I did however get him to leave the house even if we went somewhere he wanted to go and I didn't. He wanted to take the kids to Swing A Round Fun Town to ride go karts and play games. I agreed only because I knew Timothy would LOVE to ride with daddy on the go karts!

Poor Mason was too little to join in the fun, so he watched from the sidelines. Yes with this sad face the entire time!

Taylor slept through the fun of course!

Then we went inside to play some games. This is the best form of entertainment at their age, because you don't have to spend any money! They don't realize they are not actually playing the games, I think Tim played more games than they did!

Then we went back outside because daddy wanted to do the batting cages(he has played ball all his life). Needless to say he was a little out of practice! The boys of course could no do this so we watched(I don't think he hit any). Mason insisted on riding on top of Taylor's stroller, and that's where he stayed until we left. I think he was getting hungry and tired!

By this point the kids were having meltdowns, the baby was screaming because she was hungry, so daddy took Timothy on the go karts one more time before we left to get dinner!

Even though this was not what I wanted to do, the kids had a blast and that it all that matters! Timothy did not want to stop racing, I think I may have a future Nascar racer on my hands!!
