Friday!

Did you get up early to watch the royal wedding? I debated on weather or not I wanted to get up at 3am or not. I decided to just record it and get up when the boys wake me up and watch it, since they get up early enough.

Mason woke me up at 6:30am, and Timothy was shortly behind him. But neither of them were interested in this fabulous wedding. I really with Taylor would have been old enough to get up and watch it with me, instead she was sound asleep in her bed. I would have loved to show her that they were a real prince and princess. Instead, I watched on my own.

Yesterday we had a gorgeous day with no rain and sunshine. As you can probably tell from the pictures the kids and I played outside in the afternoon. I got out new bubbles and chalk from Easter. I even let Taylor crawl around on the grass and concrete for a few minutes.

Today has turned out to be another beautiful day with lots of sunshine. We just got home from taking Tim to the emergency room. Two days ago he was getting really dizzy and almost blacking out. Then vomited twice. Yesterday he still felt pretty bad. But then this morning he was taking a recertification test for work and was up on a pole when he got dizzy and vomited again. His supervisor told him to go to the doctor. They ran some blood work, gave him and IV of fluids and medicine. Blood work came back fine so they couldn't really come up with anything. They said his blood pressure was a little high so maybe it's his blood pressure, but don't really have an answers. His official diagnosis, headaches. Well duh!

I am really behind on reading and commenting on blogs, I apologize. It seems that every time I sit down to do that something comes up, or I have to tend to one of the kids. Or there is always laundry and chored that need to be done. I will try and catch up as much as I can now since it is nap time and 2 out of the 3 are sleeping. We shall see.

I hope you all have a awesome Friday, and an even better weekend. Any fun plans for the weekend?

SO Very Thankful

With Thanksgiving 2 days away, I have so much to be thankful for. Not just at Thanksgiving, but all year around.

I am so thankful that I had 3 fairly healthy pregnancies. I am thankful that I carried 3 children to full term. I am thankful that I gave birth to 3 beautiful and very healthy children. I know that not everyone can say that, and for that my heart breaks. I am blesses and so very thankful that I can.

I am so thankful that I have Tim by my side. I am thankful that it is because of him that I am able to stay at home with my children. I am thankful for all the good times and the bad. I am thankful that even in the bad times he is still here. Even when we fight, I know I am lucky. And deep down I know the kids are lucky to. I am thankful that he is here for his children. I am so blessed he is in our lives, and so very thankful

I am thankful for friends and family. I am thankful that we have family we can turn to in hard times. I am thankful that our family would drop everything to help us and be by our side. I am thankful that I have friends who are there for me to talk to and for support. I am thankful that I have friends to keep me sane. Without my friends and family we would be lost. I am so blessed that they are so supportive, and so very thankful.

I am thankful for all the relationships in our lives. Without these people I am not sure where I would be right now. They make my life better, and for that I am grateful. They make me smile, laugh, and cry. I am so blessed and so very thankful for my life.

And of course I am thankful for this blog. I am thankful I have a place to write down all my thought, fears, worries, joys. I am thankful that I have a place to write about all our ups and downs, because they are important. I am thankful for all my readers, who have offered support and advice. I am thankful for all the silent readers who have never left a comment, but who have listened. Thank you. I am so blessed, and so very thankful for all of you.

You know you live with a hunter...

1. If you find an alarm going off at 3am.

2. If your house smells of fresh dirt, AFTER washing clothes.

3. If you in your desperate state of not wanting to hear about how much he wants to go hunting, offer to watch his friends little girl at 4:30 in the morning so they can FINALLY go.

Oh yes, friends. I am just that nice.

4. If you have camo pants, shirts, coats, all over the house.

5. If when your significant other is home, hunting shows on on the TV a majority of the time.

Yep, it's been hunting season. That means I am going insane over here! Tim has been going most weekends for a little bit in the morning. I don't mind him going hunting, but it just makes for no breaks for me. That's why he tries to just go in the morning and not all day.

The other day Tim and his friend really wanted to get out Friday morning (they usually go on Saturday), and they needed to find a babysitter to watch Alyssa since Angie works. I don't know what came over me, but I offered to get up at 4:30 am to watch her so they could go.

Luckily for Alyssa, she is just so darn cute and I love her that I didn't mind. Chris dropped her off, and we layed around watching cartoons for about an hour trying to get her to go back to sleep. She was not having any of it, and about 5:30 the boys were up. So we just played instead.

We then had some breakfast, and before I knew it it was already 8:30 am and I could tell that no sleep was catching up to Alyssa. So I layed her down and she slept for 2 hours. She got up right before Tim and Chris got back.

She was such a good girl, we all had fun. The boys LOVE playing with her and were super excited to wake up and see her here. Taylor just didn't know what to think of her, and played next to her for the longest time. It was so cute!

Do you live with a hunter? Have something to add to the list?

Timothy's Future

A conversation Tim had with Timothy last weekend in the van.

Timothy: "When I get bigger I am going to go hunting"!

Tim: "Oh yea. What do you want to go hunting for"?

Timothy: "Deer, I'm gonna go deer hunting".

Tim: "Well I am pretty sure we will start with something a little smaller, maybe squirrels. Otherwise you might give your mom a heart attack"!

Timothy: "NO. When I grow up I am going to be a deer hunter"!

Tim: " Oh OK, I guess you have this all planned out don't ya"?

Timothy: "YES I DO"!

He was dead serious too. There is no debating this, he knows what he wants!!

Happy Father's Day

I know I am a little late with my post. I have sat all day thinking about how I am going to write this post. I don't want to keep complaining or sound like all I do is complain.

My dad is great! Even though my parents have been divorced since I was little, he has always been a big part of my life. I cherish my memories with him on the weekends as a child. We always went and did things, mostly shopping! He has always been there for me. I could not pick a better dad. He is also a wonderful Grandpa to the kids! They adore him and I know he loves them to pieces! We are over there all the time, especially lately to swim! I LOVE seeing the boys playing with their Pa Pa!

Thanks for all you do dad/Pa Pa, we ALL love you!

This is the hard part. While Tim does so much for our family by working and supporting us so that I can stay home with the kids, which I am truly grateful for, he is not the most active father. I have no doubt in my mind and heart that he loves his children, no doubt at all. I just wish he would take a bigger role in their lives. Sure he is always here, but not really here. He usually spends his evenings on the computer or yelling at them. He used to give them their baths, after lots of bitching, but he doesn't really do that anymore. He sometimes puts them to bed, but usually I do without him even knowing they went to sleep. No good nights, no hugs, no kisses.

The boys LOVE him so much and when he comes home from work, all they want to do is spend time with their daddy. I just wish he could realize that his kids need him. They need this time with him. Positive time, not yelling. I wish that he would hold Taylor and play with her, I know she would really love it. My heart truly breaks thinking about them growing up and looking back and realizing all the time he wasted playing games and not spending it with his kids.

I ask him all the time That if something happened to them(god forbid) or when they grow up, will he look back and not regret the time he missed with them. He always says he won't. If I was him I sure would. I am torn because I know he loves them and he is a great father, but he could be so much more.

I just hope that they never question his love for them. I fear they will.

OK enough with the sad stuff! Here are some pictures from today at my dad and Judee's. We spent the day in the pool.....again! We all had fun though. Tim had to work but came over in the evening for a Little while. Hope everyone else had a great Father's Day!

Goodbyes

Finally Blogger fixed their problem and I can write my post!

I mentioned early that Tim's parents were in town last week. They came up a few weeks early, it was a nice surprise! Tim's grandma( his mom's mom) is not doing that well and on top of never meeting Taylor yet, they just couldn't wait any longer. Can you really blame them?!

They moved to Texas about five years ago and it was hard on the whole family, and it has only gotten harder. Five years ago Tim and I had no kids, they had no grand kids. Now they have three that they don't get to see near enough as they and we would like! But you have to do what you have to do, right?! We have taken a few vacations to Texas in the five years they have been down there, and they try and come up every few months. It's not ideal, but it works.

Despite not seeing them much, the boys know who they are and love them so much! Timothy will even tell you that grandma and grandpa live in Texas and their house is far away! Timothy even goes as far as calling them ALL the time, at 5:30 A.M.!!! Needless to say we soak up every minute with them that when can when they are here.

Last week was no exception. You would never be able to tell that they live so far away and are not here much. The kids were in heave with Grandma and Grandpa!

Like all good things it had to come to an end. That's the hard part. Saturday we had to say goodbye, Grandma and Grandpa had to go back to Texas.

Why are goodbye's so hard?!

Luckily the boys are still young, and don't really grasp the goodbye and understand what is going on. I know the goodbyes are extremely hard on them and Tim. Now that I am a mom, to two boys, I can only imagine how it is to leave your child and be so far away. Just as I can only imagine how it is to have my mom or dad live so far away. Even though Tim and I are not married and they are not my parent's per say, I still consider them like parents. They are great, and are always there for Tim and I. They are the greatest grandparents too!

Thankfully they are going to try and move back here in the next year. How awesome would that be?! I can't wait! So until then we will wait patiently, or not so patiently...hurry up grandma and grandpa!

Thanks for the fun week and everything you guys did! We miss you like crazy already! See you soon!

LOVE you Tim and Debbie, Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa
XOXO

Our new puppy

So as if we didn't have enough going on with Taylor and the boys, Tim decided we needed a new puppy!! My Uncle Terry had Min. Pincher puppies, full blood for free. So on Easter we came home with one, we named him Duke! I forgot how a puppy is just like having a newborn mixed with a toddler.

He is a sweet little guy but a lot of work, and I'm not sure now was the best time for him. Timothy loves him but Mason does not. He is a little aggressive and likes to bite. The weird thing is he only really attacks Mason, and he has no idea what to do but stand there and cry :( He also jumps on Taylor which I have been trying to stop. Plus I'm dealing with the chewing, trying to house train, and dealing with him whining and barking all night in the cage.

Actually now that I think about it, Taylor is better than the puppy :) There are times when he is so sweet and cuddles with you but then there are those times when I'm like what were we thinking. I hope things get better and he adjusts, otherwise we might have to take him back. It's all a little overwhelming right now!

A new direction

A few weeks ago Tim applied for a system tech position at his work. He really wanted this position for many reasons....he will get a pay increase, it allows him to advance in the company, and it allows for room to make more money! Well we had not heard anything so we figured he did not get the job. But surprise surprise today he texted me from work saying he GOT THE POSITION!!! YAY WooHOO! I am so very happy and proud of him! This is going to be great for our family!

WAY TO GO TIM!
