Summer Evenings

Days like yesterday are days I cherish. Days spent as a family enjoying one another are days I live for.

Summer evenings spent at the lake. Watching Tim teach the boys how to fish melts my heart.

When Tim is like this in his element, with his boys, he is the best daddy there is. I can feel the bond they all have. It is incredible to see!

Watching them one on one with nature.

Hair blowing in the warm breeze.

Dragonfly's on the fishing poles.

Listening to Mason screech and giggle in delight as Timothy chases him.

Running and rolling around on the grass. Barefoot.

Visiting the farm animals!

Ending the evening at the playground, climbing to the top of huge rocks.

A perfect summer evening. Spent as a family, just the way I like it. Wish there were more evenings like this!!

Enjoying The Simple Things.

Like the way Taylor rubs my face and stares into my eyes.

The evenings we spend as a family watching a movie, where I usually end up liking it more than the kids.

When Mason falls and you ask him if he is OK and he responds "I'm fine"!

The fact that Timothy HAS to run around the house without underwear or pants on. Eh it makes going on potty easier, right?!

The way Mason says "Pwease" and "Thank you".

When they boys are playing nicely together and sharing.

Early in the morning when the house is still, and I can nurse Taylor, just her and I.

Seeing Timothy's face light up when he is with his friends, especially Nicco.

The way Mason dotes over Taylor, he is in love.

When Taylor belly laughs at the silliness of her brothers. Pure bliss!

Trying to relish in the simple things. The memories that will last a lifetime.

Happy 1st Birthday Alyssa

Our good friends Chris and Angie's little girl Alyssa turned one yesterday. We were there at the hospital when she was born and waited 13 minutes after midnight for her to finally be born! She is the sweetest little girl ever, well second to Taylor of course!

Here she was just 6 months ago.

Yesterday they had her party too. I cannot believe she is already 1. It is probably because I was in the beginning of my pregnancy with Taylor. It's crazy to see how fast time flies and how fast our little ones grow up.

We had a great time at the party. Happy 1st Birthday Alyssa, we love you!

Weekend Ramblings

We have been going to all kinds of birthday parties lately. There was Timothy's friend Nicco's party, which we had to miss, but met up with them later to give him a gift. Then we had Mason's party last weekend, yesterday we had our other friend Mason's party at Chuck E Cheese, and today we have our good friend Chris and Angie's little girl Alyssa's 1st birthday. And in two weeks we another friends party. Whew I am going to be all partied out, but I know the boys are enjoying it. Especially all the cake!

--------

In other news Duke is back!! It is the weirdest thing. He went missing around 2p.m. on Tuesday and on Thursday night I heard scratching at the front door. I went to open without thinking assuming it was Lando, our other dog, but then realizing he wasn't outside. I opened it slowly and seen Dukes little head, he can running in. He had a new collar on, looked like he had been fed, and smelled like he just had a bath.

We are assuming that someone snatched him up pretty quickly after he got away and thought they had a new dog. Which I guess is partially our problem since we didn't have a collar on him. But we cold not keep one on him. I am thinking that he got out of their house, maybe slipped through the door. Since you know he is pretty good at that kind of stuff. I am just surprised he came back here. I wish I knew who took him.

Part of me is grateful that someone took him in and cared for him. I really did not want him to be running on the streets in the 100+ degree heat or get hit by a car or something. But at the same time I am kind of upset that someone just took him in like they just got a new dog or something. Although then I just get mad at myself because they wouldn't happen if I would have had a collar and tag on him. Oh well we are just glad he is back and is fine.

He acted like he was never gone.

---------

Taylor is growing like a weed. She has finally mastered rolling from her back to her belly, but has yet to figure out how to go from her belly to back.

She is such a joy to watch learn and grow. We get so many compliments on how pretty she is, which of course we think so too. Yesterday we went out to eat and a nice lady and man were talking to us about Taylor. They could not get over how gorgeous she is, they told me when I picked her up they thought she was a little doll, and not a real baby. They said it was because of her dark hair, and fair porcelain like skin. It's always nice to hear such compliments, warms my heart. Although I already think she is the most beautiful girl.

Here are two videos of Taylor. Isn't she just the cutest. Baby giggles are just pure bliss!

---------

The boys are doing well. Timothy is in the "you can't take my picture" kick, and so I am not getting very many pictures of him lately. Mason loves to smile for the camera, but then moves or jumps or runs off right as you snap the picture. So most of my pictures of him are blurry or the back of his head or something crazy. I think the other day I showed you one of my favorite faces he makes.

Well here is another Mason face. This is the focused look!

Jealousy is a b****

I am jealous of all the woman who have wonderful husbands/boyfriends/fiance's.

I am jealous of all the woman who have husbands that do a late night craving run, when they are pregnant or not.

I am jealous of all the woman who have husbands that want to go on family outings.

I am jealous of all the woman who have husbands that let them sleep in once in a while.

I am jealous of all the woman who have husbands that help around the house.

I am jealous of all the woman who have husbands that respect them being stay at home moms.

I am jealous of all the woman who have husbands that they can talk to about anything.

I am jealous of all the woman who have husbands that understand, and listen.

I am jealous of all the woman who have husbands that they can talk to without fear of getting yelled at or belittled.

I am jealous of all the woman who have husbands that can tell when their wives are stressed and just need a break.

I am jealous of all the woman who have husbands that share the finances, that don't have to ask for money.

I am jealous of all the daddies who want the best for their children, and care about their well being.

I am jealous of all the daddies who spend quality time with their children.

I am jealous of all the daddies who treat their children with respect.

I am jealous of all the daddies who show their children love.

I am jealous of all the daddies who don't scream and belittle their children.

I am jealous of all the daddies will sit on the floor and play cars for "hours".

I am jealous of all the daddies who love doing bath time.

I am jealous of all the daddies who equally help take care of the children.

I am jealous of all the daddies who use other forms of discipline besides fear, and spanking.

I am jealous of all the daddies who will sit there for hours holding their baby girl, enjoying them.

I am jealous of all the daddies who enjoy being daddies.

I am jealous of all the husbands/daddies who give everything to their families.

Clearly I did something to piss God off.
